Wallington exits Marshall Motor Group to join ex-boss Gupta

Marshall Motor Group’s commercial chief Adrian Wallington has exited the business after being poached by its former chief executive Daksh Gupta.

Wallington is joining building merchant Huws Gray – which Gupta now heads – after a four year tenure at Marshall.

After heading Endeavour Automotive as managing director, Wallington re-joined his former employer Marshall Motor Holdings in 2020 as commercial development director.

Wallington had previously worked at the AM100 heavyweight Marshall as its JLR franchise director for seven years after fulfilling roles at Jardine Motor Group and Wayside, before moving to Endeavour in 2018,

“I’m delighted to share that I’m starting a new position as chief commercial officer at Huws Gray. I am sorry to be leaving the fantastic colleagues at Marshall Motor Group but very excited to be taking up my new challenge,” he said in a LinkedIn post.
