Most Wanted is a weekly series in which one editor, staffer, or influencer shares their top 30 must-haves or current wish-list items.
Over the holidays, I had a little more free time than usual to do things I often neglect, such as weeding out unworn items in my closet and unused beauty products in my bathroom. In doing this, and being faced with how over-stuffed my storage space is, I decided that in 2025, I’m only interested in purchasing things that I’ll wear and use repeatedly. No more shoes that I buy for one trip or lipsticks purchased for one special occasion. And the best way to stay on track with my shopping intentions is to make a list and stick to it. So on New Year’s Day, that’s exactly what I did.
My 2025 “bucket list” consists of fifteen fashion items and fifteen specific beauty products that I’m prioritizing this year, all of which I know I’ll wear over and over. So in case you’re seeking a bit of shopping inspiration or are just curious, keep scrolling to check out my list and perhaps even add some of these bucket list items to your own collection.
Fashion Bucket List
Reformation
Prudence Ballet Flats in Leopard Haircalf
These are currently on backorder, but I shall wait.
SAINT LAURENT
Le 5 à 7 Supple Small Leather Shoulder Bag in Green
If I get just one new bag this year, I want it to be this one. It’s so classic and versatile, and I know I’d carry it constantly.
I’m already planning for a tropical vacation this spring, and like to pack at least one one-piece. This Staud new arrival checks all the boxes.
Agolde
Valen Vintage Straight Jeans in Hitch
I recently ordered these jeans in another color and have worn them every other day since. This black wash is next on my list
For some reason, I don’t own a single skort but when I saw this one, I ordered it immediately. It’s so very polished.
I just know I’d wear it constantly.
Swedish Stockings
Olivia Premium Tights
I recently tried this brand for the first time and am obsessed and will need more pairs.
J.Crew
Dip-Dyed Brushed Cashmere Crewneck Sweater
I told myself I was done sweater shopping for the season—but then I saw this one.
Do I need a $595 Prada headband? No. Do I want it? You bet.
PUMA
Speedcat OG Sneakers
My next sneaker purchase will be these affordable celeb-approved It sneakers.
COS
Studio Bowling Bag – Suede
This gorgeous suede bag is large enough to use as a travel bag.
FP Movement
Pippa Packable Puffer Jacket in Mid Atlantic
I already own this in several colors but it’s just so good. This shade will look especially cheerful this winter.
Leset
Kelly Slim Fit Long Sleeve Top
More Leset tees in 2025, please.
NAGHEDI
St Barths Slide Sandals
I already own these in one color but they’re so good that I might need another before spring arrives.
Beauty Bucket List
NARS
Explicit Lipstick in Only Yours
I have the lipstick in another color and the formula is a dream. This perfect limited-edition color is going straight into my Nordstrom cart.
Shani Darden Skin Care
Rescue Serum With 10% Azelaic Complex
I will gladly buy anything Shani Darden releases, and this new serum is next up. It sounds like a does-it-all product but I’m particularly interested in the redness-reducing capabilites.
CHANEL
Les Beiges Healthy Glow Foundation Hydration & Longwear
Truth be told, I already ordered this a couple of weeks ago, but I will definitely re-purchase when this bottle runs out. I wanted something with a slightly glowy finish but with decent, natural-looking coverage. I’d heard the hype but this foundation exceeded my expectations.
Oribe
Serene Scalp Thickening Treatment Spray
My hair feels drastically thinner in the winter, and I’m finally ready to do something about it. You spray this treatment spray on your scalp when it’s damp and a few months later, voilà—thicker hair.
Dr. Diamond’s Metacine
Instafacial® Plasma Bioactive Growth Factor Serum
Beauty editors rave about this serum, which is said to leave skin “lifted, firmer, tighter & luminous” by stimulating your skin’s plasma. To say that I’m intrigued is an understatement.
Gucci
Luminous Matte Beauty Blush in Bright Coral
I already have this blush (which made me love powder blush again) in a couple of shades, and I plan on adding this one to my collection for spring.
Yes, this laser is wildly expensive, but I’m thinking of all of the money I’ll save on treatments at the dermatologist because of it. Rumor has it that it’s ridiculously easy to use, there’s no downtime, and noticeably reduces wrinkles and a slew of other skin concerns.
Drunk Elephant
Therabu Buttered Reparative Hand Cream
This new hand cream is getting rave reviews, and my hands are always at their worst during January and February, so I intend on giving it a try before that happens.
Prada Beauty
Hydrating Lip Balm in U001 Astral Pink
I have a sample of this and it leaves the prettiest wash of pink and stays on your lips for hours. I’m investing in the full-size next.
M-61
Hydraboost Eye Masks
Big eye mask fan here. I look forward to trying (and probably loving) this new release.
Paula’s Choice
Pro-Collagen Peptide Plumping Gel-Cream Moisturizer
This new Paula’s Choice moisturizer promises visibly plumper skin, and the early reviews back that up. Plus, they had me at “pro-collagen”.
TOM FORD
Rose Exposed Eye Color Quad
I’m already a fan of Tom Ford’s eye shadows, and I think it’s safe to say that this is the prettiest palette I’ve ever seen.
CHANEL
Le Vernis Longwear Nail Color in Artiste
If you see me this spring and summer, my toes will probably be this color.
ILIA
Lip Sketch Hydrating Crayon in Genre
I don’t usually like lip pencils but I have this one in another shade and it’s excellent. This rosey-brown color is next on my list.
KUSSHI
Vacationer Makeup Bag in Blush/Cool Grey
I bought this bag in a different size and color, and haven’t gone on a trip without it since. This larger size is going to be my next purchase.
