Another son of NBA superstar LeBron James will be playing Division I college basketball after Bryce James announced his commitment to the Arizona Wildcats on Wednesday.

Bryce James, LeBron’s youngest son, is a shooting guard at Sierra Canyon (California) and considered a three-star recruit in the class of 2025, according to Rivals. He had previously made visits to USC, where his older brother, Bronny, played one season, as well as Notre Dame earlier this fall.

The Fighting Irish, Ohio State and Duquesne had made James offers during his recruitment.

LeBron James responded to the news of his son’s commitment with his own Instagram post, featuring the caption of, “🐻 DOWN⬇️!!!!!!!!! CONGRATULATIONS MAXIMUS!! SO PROUD OF YOU!!! 🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🤎🤎🤎🥺🥺🥺🤴🏾 #JamesGang👑”

Bryce James began his high school career at Sierra Canyon before moving to Campbell Hall in May 2023. Three months later he moved to Notre Dame High before returning to Sierra Canyon in November 2023. Like his brother, Bronny, the 6-foot-4, 165-pound Bryce James holds an NIL deal at Klutch Sports, which has long represented his father.
